Nice itself is an attraction: the rich blue-green sea, diverse shopping, splendid dining and lovely art-deco façades. I lived three months in Vieux Nice and am a true fan of this area. 'Old Nice' is the cute old town center of Nice. Is downright dripping with atmosphere. Its narrow colorful streets are a one-stop shop for take-home finds, such as Provençal wares, household items, wine, gifts, clothing and more. Nice's famous Flower Market is one of the best attractions in the whole city. The edges are lined with cafés and souvenir shops, and the stands themselves are packed with amazing produce and myriad flowers. It operates six days a week. On Mondays replaced by a fantastic market. Nice Port is famed for its antique shops, but the vintage flea antiques Market (Les Puces) is worth a visit. Located on quai Papacino. An ideal market for stylists, designers, interior stylists, collective nature, art dealers, etc. to get inspiration from. You can find great old jewelry. But also art, prints, ceramics, lamps, chairs and all sorts of other stuff. Those who're interested in vintage fashion can find original vintage pieces from Pierre Cardin, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Balenciaga, etc. I imagine then that these things come from older females in the neighborhood of posh ladies from Paris with a second house in the Cote d'Azure, who have considerably cleaned once attic. Or maybe a few familiar stars of the past who once gave away their things. Where it all comes from we will not know. But all in all provides a beautiful visual image.
